Detroit Chinatowns: 底特律中国城 Exhibit at the Detroit Historical Society

Lily is curating an exhibit which celebrates the history of Detroit’s Chinatowns to open on Saturday, October 7 in the Detroit Historical Society’s Community Gallery. This exhibit is curated in partnership with the Detroit Chinatown community, with special thanks to Curtis Chin, author of the upcoming Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant: A Memoir (October 17, 2023).

Creative Nonfiction Meetup at Room Project

Romi Strings

Lily is a semiprofessional violinist and one-half of the chamber music duo Romi Strings. Lily began studying violin at the age of 3, first under the late Julia Kurtyka and later under Kimberly Kennedy, Associate Concertmaster of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

Lily loves meeting up, playing chamber music, and attending the Detroit Symphony Orchestra with fellow classical musicians. Reach out at hello@romistrings.com.
